About the Project:
Client: Writhlington School
Our client, Writhlington School in Radstock, appointed us to carry out maintenance works to their existing Venlo glasshouse. The scope of works included a non-chemical external clean of the roof and sidewalls, undertaken using high-powered petrol jet washers.

The Process:
Commercial Glasshouse Contracts Ltd attended the premises to carry out the cleaning works and, in addition, was instructed to service all ventilation mechanisms. This included the inspection and greasing of all rack and pinion systems, checking and securing all split pins, and removing any internal moss build-up around the vent areas.
The screen system was also serviced, with damaged moly filament wires and missing side weights replaced. Following these repairs, the screen was realigned to ensure smooth operation and correct tracking.

The Result:
Upon completion, the glasshouse was left clean, with clear running gutters and fully functioning ventilation and screening/shading systems.
The works were completed to a high standard, leaving the area ready for immediate onward use.
